The Wave Ceptor range of watches from Casio, which includes the ladies FELITE collection, offer split second accuracy using the latest radio-control technology.
Why have a radio-controlled watch?
- Radio signal reception = Adjusts each day to show the exact time to the second.
- Automatic time adjustment = No need to adjust your watch between summer and wintertime.
- Dual / multi region = Easily switch between time zones at the touch of a button, so you always have the precise local time.
Wave Ceptor radio-controlled watches coverage areas are:
- Dual Region: The watch picks up signals from transmitters in the UK and most of mainland Europe.
- Multi region 1: The watch picks up signals from transmitters in the UK, USA and most of mainland Europe.
- Multi region 2: The watch picks up signals from transmitters in the UK, USA, Japan and most of mainland Europe.
Note: Parts of Europe currently outside the dual and multi regions include Southern Spain, Portugal and Greece.
Points to Remember:
- Setting the correct 'home city' is essential in order for the key features to operate. The ' home city' code refers to the time zone where you normally use the watch. You can find out how to set the correct 'home city' code by referring to the user manual provided by the watch.
- If the time is one hour off, then the Daylight Saving Time (DST) setting may be incorrect. Refer to the user manual to set the DST to 'auto'.
- If you are outside the signal range of the transmitters you can perform a manual procedure to set the correct date and time. Refer to the user manual under 'timekeeping' to set the correct time manually.
- Signal reception is better at night than during the day due to lower interference. Reception can be affected by weather, atmospheric conditions and seasonal changes.
